Change Microsoft PIN

To change your PIN when you're already signed in:
Make sure you're connected to the internet, so the change syncs to your Microsoft account.
Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.

Select Windows Hello PIN > Change and then follow the instructions. You will need to know and enter your old PIN in order to change to a new one.

Note: If you have forgotten your PIN and signed in to your machine using a password, fingerprint, security key, or other means, you can also select I forgot my PIN and follow the directions to verify your account and select a new one.
